How long to the locale services go for?
Each service will go for around 45-60 minutes. We encourage you to connect with others in a local park or café afterwards to continue connecting and being together safely.
What can I expect at a Locale?
Tweed Coast Church Locales are designed to enable real connection in a safe way during this unique season. Each Locale is a ticketed gathering to ensure we meet COVID-19 guidelines.
When you arrive, there’s plenty of free nearby car parking and a short walk to the Locale. At the entrance, you’ll see some of our helpful team who will scan your ticket from your smartphone or search for your name to check you in. You’ll walk through the doors and be able to find a seat and undoubtedly be greeted a few times from our happy host teams.
For those who have Kids Tickets, you’ll be ushered through to Tweed Coast Kids to complete a short sign-in for your child/ren to ensure safety.
At 9 am the service will commence, you’ll be invited to stand and worship together (currently in NSW, singing is not permitted under COVID-19 guidelines, so we will encourage you to participate in worship by raising your hands and standing in our NSW Locales. In our Queensland Locale (Palm Beach) you are allowed to sing and we encourage you to stand, sing and participate in worship).

Who will be at each locale?
Each locale has hosts and a local host team. If you’d like to be a part of the host team for your locale please let us know HERE. Our pastors and creative team will bring the worship, prayer and message at each locale.
What is in a locale service?
Each locale service will have live acoustic worship, prayer and message. A kids program is also available at each locale specifically designed around each venue.
How do I register to attend?
You can register to attend a locale on our website HERE.
You need to register everyone who will be attending the service with you including babies and children if they will be with you.
Kids will need to register separately for the kids program.
Tickets for Locales become available on this page every Monday at midday.
We know that not every week is the same – changing work/life schedules or illness – so for this reason, you will need to get a ticket each week if you plan to attend a Locale.
Here’s how to register and get your ticket:
- Click the blue ‘Register’ button on the locale page
- Select how many tickets you would like, and select the red ‘Register’ button.
- Then you will need to type in your full name, phone number, home address and email address.
- Select the red ‘Register’ button again.
- Voila! You’ve done it.
Once you’ve clicked on ‘Register’, your ticket will be emailed directly to you but don’t worry, you won’t need to print it out. You can show us the ticket on your smartphone or our host team can simply search for your name to make sure you’re checked in.
What if my locale is already full and no more tickets are available?
We are working hard to ensure that everyone who would like to connect in a locale each Sunday can while working within limited numbers at each venue due to COVID-19 restrictions.
If your nearest locale is full we encourage you to try one of our other locales that may have space available. Each locale is unique and offers a great opportunity to meet new friends!
If you are missing out regularly, please let us know and we’d love to prioritise you and help you find a place for our next service. In the meantime, we encourage you to join us in your loungeroom on our YouTube channel.

What should I do if there isn’t a locale near to me?
Will there be other locales?
We would love to be able to offer more locales if needed as time goes on. Please let us know if you’d like a locale near to you or would like to connect with others for our online service on Sundays.
What information do I need to provide to register?
You will need to register your full name, phone number, home address and email address. This is to comply with our COVID-19 requirements. The purpose of the collection is to assist with COVID-19 contact tracing. We will store your information securely with access restricted to relevant staff and we will not share your information with any other people. Unfortunately, we are unable to allow access to our Locales if you fail to provide this information as we are required by law to collect this information.
Unwell or can’t make it anymore?
If you can no longer attend your Locale for any reason, please allow the opportunity for someone else to attend by emailing us on [email protected] before 4 pm on Thursday.
Alternatively, refer to your original ticket email and select “View & Manage Order”. Follow the prompts to cancel your tickets and this will then automatically enable your tickets to become available for others to book.

We are committed to stopping the spread of COVID-19 and are taking all necessary precautions to keep you and your family safe.
Along with registering and following our guidelines listed above, we ask that you practice social distancing wherever possible and make regular use of the hand sanitiser which will be readily available at all our Locales.
