Serve Day – FAQ
What is Serve Day
Serve Day is a global movement which provides churches across the world with opportunities to serve their local communities and share the love of God through practical acts of kindness. Our hope is that serving others becomes our focus throughout the year. Simple acts of selfless love can open hearts, and together we can make a difference.
What Does the $25 registration fee Include?
The registration fee goes into each of the 4 projects that we are partnering with this year. It covers any cost needed for materials or expenses that each project may require and also snacks, drinks and a free Serve day shirt for everyone who registers.
Can Kids Come and do I need to register them?
Yes kids can come to some of the projects this year, please check in the blurb what age limit is needed for the project you’re thinking of. All kids must register if they are going to be involved in a project. (they will get a t-shirt too)
Can I Come and serve without Registering?
Unfortunately we do need all people to register for Serve Day, due to safety and liability requirements. We will not have any registrations on the day at any of the projects and all participants must be registered before close off business on Thursday the 11th of July.
Will Any food be supplied?
Yes! Snacks and drinks will be available to each project on the day.
How Can I be a part of Serve Day if I’m not able to make it that day?
We believe that serve day is not just limited to people giving of their time and gifts, but we have made a way for people to be able to donate to an amazing organisation. All the money donated to this cause will go to feed the people that are doing it tough on the streets this winter. The charity we are partnering with is called You Have A Friend who Provides 300 plus meals a week to the homeless and marginalised and supporting many single mothers and children and those who most need it
